Ozone is VERY corrosive to all metals (except stainless steel) and to rubber and plastic. Within a year, six months in humid areas it's not uncommon to have switches, relays, mother boards, timers, etc inside of the ozone generator fail (in standard ozone generators). Ozone Generator USA's owners have been selling ozone generators for over 10 years. They designed this unit without any "prone to fail" parts so that they could offer an industry first "lifetime warranty" on the power transformer.
Construction: The cabinet is made of solid Oak. The front grill, "ozone board" that houses the 7KV transformer and 2 ozone elements are stainless steel. Both oak and stainless steel are very ozone resistant. Wires are kept in an electrical box that helps to prevent wire corrosion.
Innovative Design: The best thing about our ozone generators is their easy to open, easy to maintain design. All other ozone generators on the market collect toxic mold, viruses, bacteria, VOC's, and otherwise toxic dust inside since nobody ever opens their ozone generator after each use to clean it of any toxins it might have collected while in use. (in a toxic environment no less) Over time, that dust and grime destroys the ozone plates and the fan. It also causes switches and relays, etc to fail. That's not a problem with our ozone generators! For starters, the 105 CFM AC fan feature an electrostatic pre-filter that helps keep the inside of the unit dust free. What dust does make it past the filter is easy to remove with a baby wipe or damp paper towel by pulling the "ozone board" out for cleaning.
