Ozone FAQ's
If you have a question you don't see here, contact us and we'll add it.
Q. Your ozone machines don't have any "bells and whistles" like others. Why?
A. Simple. Nobody makes a switch that doesn't feature a metal conduit. Ozone, over time, sometimes within 6 months with regular use, rusts the thin metal in the switch and renders it inoperable. Same goes for variable output rheostats, timers, lights, etc. While this is often covered by a 1 year warranty, many ozone generators only cover the parts, NOT THE LABOR, or specify in their warranty that if you "do not properly maintain your unit, the warranty is void". Guess what, 100% of the time, guess who will be blamed on the failure? Besides, who wants to be without their ozone generator for weeks, or longer, and have to pay for shipping both ways just to fix a switch? Same goes for the following parts: internal timers, ozone output volume, relays, etc.
Q. How long does it take you to ship once I place my order?
A. We offer free USPS Priority Mail shipping and usually ship within 24 hours. You'll get a confirmation number when your order ships. You can expedite your order by paying a $10 fee at checkout which puts your order at the front of the line (ship same day in most cases when placed before 4PM PST).
Q. Why are your ozone generators made out of solid oak instead of metal?
A. Solid oak is very durable and will last a lifetime. It's also contains an natural anti bacterial-mold agent besides being ozone proof, solid, and very attractive. Like old fashioned TV's and Radios made of solid oak, our ozone generators will a lifetime. Using solid oak and stainless steel fixtures does make for a heavier product, but that doesn't add to the shipping cost since your units fit inside USPS flat rate boxes.
Q. Do you take phone orders?
A. Yes, 24/7 at
866-675-4003 ext 1
. You can also reach a live person 24/7 should you have a customer service issue by calling 866-675-4003 ext 2 . If you have a product question however you'll have to call M-Th 13-4 PST and choose option 4 to speak with Mike, the owner and brains behind our company.
Q. Are your bare bones units safe?
A. If they weren't, we wouldn't be selling them! First of all, ozone shock treatments are performed in unoccupied rooms. Secondly, touching the plate will not kill you, it will shock you however similar to putting your finger in a light socket (110V device). Yes, the transformer is high voltage but that's inside the transformer, not the surface of the ozone plate. Besides, it's a "kit" and we do recommend placing the unit in some type of cage or structure, it's not an air purifier you place on a counter top in an occupied room.. |
