Q:  Is ozone toxic? 

A: Basically, ozone is three atoms of oxygen. Oxygen can and never be considered a toxic substance, unless to those who practice "junk science".  Ozone however in high concentrations is highly oxidative towards any organic substance and toxic to small critters and insects when exposure and concentration reach a "tipping point" over a period of time.  Of course ozone is not meant to be inhaled as it is very irritating to our eyes, nose, and lungs.  Our ozone generators are for "shock treatments" only.  

Q: Can ozone kill larger insects and rodents?  

A: Yes, if those critters become trapped in an ozone shock treatment environment for 6 or more hours, they'll suffer lung issues and they will perish.

Q: What precautions must be taken before using ozone to kill pests? 

A: The basic ones.  Remove all pets and people from the area. Remove anything with soft rubber (speakers, rubber shoes, etc). Seal the vents, doors, etc. Post a warning (if a public location) not to enter. Don't return for 1 hr after the ozone is cut off.
